Ukhozi FM presenter and businesswoman Zanele Mbokazi has been diagnosed with lung cancer, and this was confirmed by her husband, Bishop Nkambule.

Nkambule gave an update on her wife’s health on Ukhozi FM following a social media outcry from Mbokazi’s fans and followers.

Two weeks ago, Mbokazi had to be taken off her Sunday show after she struggled with pains while on air.

According to Nkambule, the pains went away, and Mbokazi returned to work the following Sunday, but she again couldn’t finish her show.

And that prompted the family to take her to hospital last week Monday, where she was diagnosed with lung cancer.

“She was admitted to the hospital that last Monday, not this past Monday, and the doctors checked everything, and they even took her to the theatre, meaning they managed to find the problem,” said Nkambule.

“I’d like everyone, friends, family and fans to know that the doctors discovered that Zanele has lung cancer.

“Now, as Christians, we say, we trust in God.”
